Under the guidance of Hachi, the long-lipped octopus fish-man, Annie, Luffy, and the others soon arrived at the entrance to a strange house deep in the Sabaody Archipelago. It was called Shakky's Rip-off Bar.
After pushing open the door, they were greeted by Shakky, the formidable black-haired proprietress, who was running the bar while smoking a cigarette—and casually beating up a few customers before tossing them out the door.

"Shakky, how have you been?"
"Long time no see."

"So it's you, Hachi?"
"It really has been a long time. Must be almost ten years, right?"

It seemed Hachi hadn't been bragging after all. He really did know the short-haired proprietress with her still-charming looks—and they were quite close. The moment they met, the two of them started chatting and left everyone else out of it.

"Are these all your friends?"

"You must be tired after traveling all the way here. Go ahead and find yourselves a seat. I'll get you something to eat and drink."
Once she and Hachi had finished catching up, Shakky finally had time to take a closer look at Annie, Luffy, and the others crowding into the bar. She didn't ask any questions, though. After telling them to make themselves at home, she went behind the counter and got to work.
