In fact, with a troublesome little girl present, that so-called battle had barely even begun before it was already over.
By the time the horrified guests had all fled, and several key members of the Straw Hat crew—Luffy, Usopp, Robin, and Zoro—had arrived one after another, some on Flying Fish and others on foot, crashing down through the auction house roof to force their way inside, they could only stare in astonishment. Every Celestial Dragon, Celestial Dragon guard, and auction house guard had been defeated.
Those people, men and women alike, regardless of status, had all been tied up like dumplings in red Magic Rope and hung upside down from the rafters. Some had passed out, while others had their mouths bound so tightly they couldn't say a word. All that remained of the venue was a jumble of chairs strewn about and a shattered stage.
By then, all the slaves—including Camie and the long-awaited coating mechanic Rayleigh—had been unconditionally freed by Her Majesty Queen Annie, amid a chorus of tearful thanks.
Even so, they were still stuck inside the auction house.
The massive building had already been surrounded by countless Marines. The guests were free to leave, but everyone else—including Annie, the Straw Hat crew, and several pirates who had been caught up in the incident—was trapped inside.
Meanwhile, unlike the relative calm inside the auction house in Area 1, the outside world—especially the various towns—had descended into chaos. Countless pirates and residents were in a panic.
Those who had the means or a ship were already rushing to the coast and the various docks, trying to set sail and escape the Sabaody Archipelago as quickly as possible.
