Floating Island
In a small valley west of that fake Silvermoon City, the Fire Elementals had melted rock into lava three days ago and built something like the Stranglethorn Vale Arena. But this was a gigantic competition venue, much larger than the Stranglethorn Vale Arena!
Yesterday, the Druids of the Night Elves and Tauren, along with the artists of Quel'Thalas, had all pitched in. In just one day, they had finished decorating and embellishing it.
And this morning, Azshara and the other Highborne and High Elf mages had sent out hundreds of Archmages to make the final adjustments to its magical circuits and give it powerful enchantments. They had turned an ordinary dueling arena into a perfect magical battleground, where warriors and mages of every race and class could fight to their heart's content without risking any terrible consequences.
So, by this afternoon, when Annie had been invited to come inspect and approve the venue in the midst of her busy schedule (busy eating, drinking, playing, sleeping, finding fun, and so on), the dueling arena for the grand event in ten days—the lavish feast that would divide up the world—was already more or less complete.
