After leaving that Light Temple, Annie headed south along a deserted road, wandering aimlessly around the area south of Estede.
Maybe the barbarians, monsters, and demons thought she looked like trouble. Maybe this was still within the patrol range of the Holy Pegasus Knights from Estede's Light Temple. Or maybe the place was so desolate that those creatures simply had no interest in coming here.
Whatever the reason, no one—human or otherwise—had tried to rob her along the way. And she hadn't run into the sort of trouble Elwin and Hein, those idiots, used to talk about: getting blocked by monsters or Necrons and being dragged into a hard fight.
"Hmm..."
(ˉ?ˉ;)
"Tibbers, it gets more and more desolate the farther south we go. There aren't even any villages..."

Looking up at the blue moon and the red moon hanging in the sky, Annie sighed from where she sat on her bear's shoulders.
When she'd left that completely unfun Light Temple, she'd thought there would be plenty of villages or towns to the south. But it turned out...
"Forget it!"

"Let's head east. I heard that after you pass a huge double bridge, there's a pretty green barrier?"
(*^▽^*)
Annie had heard about it from the pilgrims who had gone to worship at Estede's Great Light Temple. They'd told her about something called the "Emerald Gate." Supposedly, it was the work of the Goddess of Light, and it was what kept the demons on the Red Moon from teleporting into this world and causing trouble.
So Annie guessed it was probably some sort of device that interfered with Teleport.
After all, when she'd opened a portal to the world of Azeroth from the floating island, something had interfered with it, too. Unfortunately, whoever had built that interference device
