Today, the valley outside Silvermoon City on the floating island—the grounds of that enormous arena—was packed with far more people coming and going than before. The crowds might well have matched the total number of visitors from the previous few days combined.

Because

Today, the "Peace" Congress that would determine the fate and future of the continent of Elusaria was finally set to begin.

The tournament would be held through fair, open, and impartial contests of skill, and the ultimate winner would earn the right to decide the future of this world!

Of course, the final winner would only have the power to decide certain details. They could not change the fact that the world of Azeroth would descend and peacefully reshape this world into a new one where all races could coexist.

Even so, that was more than enough to set every contestant sharpening their blades and preparing to compete for the supreme honor and the highest authority.

Registration had closed the day before. Even after the contestants had been screened, more than ten thousand had qualified, so the contests on the first day and over the next few days would be held in groups, stages, and separate arenas.

With Azshara's support—and that of a certain troublesome little girl—the Highborne space mages had split the enormous arena into a full hundred parallel subplanes. That would allow more than ten thousand contestants and at least hundreds of thousands of spectators to witness one thrilling match after another today, ultimately narrowing the field to around a thousand winners who would advance to the next round.

At that moment, Gernier sat in his match waiting room, clad in ornate golden armor and holding his spear in his arms. His friends Matthew and Ameda were beside him.

"Don't worry!"

"Gernier, you'll be fine!"
