Almost as soon as Annie stepped into the great hall through its two magnificent bronze doors, a doll wearing a snow witch's pointed hat and robe abruptly stirred from her slumber atop the Mage Tower west of the Three Sisters, far to the north of the Raya Lucaria Academy of Sorcery, in the northernmost royal territory of Liurnia. She opened her beautiful left eye, which seemed to shimmer with stars.
Of course, only her left eye.
As for her right eye, for some reason, a hideous magical scar ran across her eyelid and cheek, leaving it forever shut and impossible to open.
"Hmm?"
"How strange..."
Though the doll girl's face couldn't form complex expressions, as she murmured softly, her beautiful left eye, sparkling as if filled with stars, was full of confusion and worry.
"Who has disturbed Mother's deep slumber?"
"Is it those people from the Academy?"

The doll girl couldn't figure out what was going on. Slowly, she slid down from the chair she'd been sitting on, which was cushioned with several spellbooks. Then she padded barefoot to the window of the Mage Tower and gazed south, toward the Raya Lucaria Academy of Sorcery.
"..."
But all she could see was a hazy expanse of mist.
"Ah..."
"There really have been a lot of things going on lately..."
In the end, unable to make sense of it and unable to put her mind at ease, she sighed once more.
"But..."
"I should go take a look..."
As soon as she finished speaking, her entire doll body transformed into specks of magical Shimmer and scattered on the breeze beside the tower window. No one knew what spell
