Annie was now on her own turf: the region of Limgrave.
That was right!
Annie had left Redmane Castle while the festival was still underway. She didn't want to socialize with those troublesome people at all, so after telling Aunt Rennala, she left without waiting for the people of Redmane Castle to come thank her again, and teleported straight back to Limgrave.
Now, beside a main road north of Lake Agheel and south of Murkwater Cave, she had spotted one of those telescopes she'd seen earlier in Liurnia. After fiddling around with it, she'd finally found the right direction and located the Third Church of Marika as a landmark. Now she knew where she needed to go next.
"Hmm..."

"That bad woman Melina said that well leading to the underground world should be somewhere in the Mistwood, south of the Third Church, near some Minor Erdtree?"

Next, Annie started scanning the area through the telescope again, hoping to find the Minor Erdtree she'd mentioned, somewhere in the Mistwood. It was that same golden thing as the great tree in the northern sky, only much smaller.
