Pouting and huffing, Jin Xiaoli kicked at the stones on the ground as she followed the crowd along, glancing around every so often.
Unfortunately, she didn't find a thing.

Tonight was the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the city was bustling, with lanterns and decorations everywhere. Not only had Jin Xiaoli and that awful Senior Sister Mo, Mo Caihuan, come out to have fun, but their master, Annie, the Flame Immortal, had come along too. So after parting ways with that annoying Senior Sister Mo, she naturally followed her scent in search of Annie.
But there were still so many people around, and their scents were all mixed together. There were all sorts of strange smells, too, until her little nose was scrunched up in a knot. She still couldn't sniff out where her master, Annie, was.

Just then, as Jin Xiaoli stood there at a loss, she suddenly sensed someone behind her patting her on the shoulder.
Then she turned around instinctively.

What she saw was a fellow wearing a tiger mask and putting on a scary face, suddenly leaning right up to her and letting out a theatrical growl, as if trying to frighten her.

"Master!"
"What's there to be afraid of about tigers? I've eaten several!"
Seeing the fellow in the tiger mask, Jin Xiaoli didn't react at all. She simply reached out and pulled the mask off her master's face, revealing the familiar, pretty face hidden behind it.
