However, to her slight surprise, those two—Lumine and Paimon—hadn't gone to sleep. Instead, they were sitting properly on their little bed in their nightgowns, arms around each other. The moment they saw her appear, they both cheered and leaped up, as though they'd been waiting specifically for her.

Seeing Annie turn the blame around, Paimon immediately flew up from the bed and over to her, hands on her hips as she asked angrily.
