It was a fine, sunny day, perfect for traveling far.
At least, that was what Yun Jin thought after waking early from the bamboo bed in Qingce Village and finding a certain troublesome little girl still fast asleep, sprawled out across the bed. She'd hogged most of the space and, unbelievably, had planted her foot right against Yun Jin's cheek.
So, with a little thought of revenge, Yun Jin had dragged the girl out of bed. After a quick breakfast, she'd gone to say goodbye to Senior Ruoxin first thing in the morning, then left Qingce Village with the still-drowsy little girl in tow, taking the country path out of the village.
"Annie!"
"Come on!"
"The weather's so nice today. We can walk a little faster."
"Look!"
"The sun's warm and the scenery's lovely."
As she looked at the terraced fields along either side of the road, the golden rice stalks and the green fruits and vegetables in the fields, Yun Jin felt her steps quicken.
Come to think of it, she returned to this little mountain village from Liyue Harbor every month or two to visit Senior Ruoxin and stay for a night or two. It wasn't just out of gratitude for the older woman's guidance; she also came to relax and clear her mind.
Just like now, she could admire the scenery by the roadside as she walked. Nothing was better for soothing her mood and letting her thoughts drift.
"The weather?"

"But, Sister Yun Jin, the weather doesn't matter. Aren't we setting off way too early and hurrying too much?"

Looking at the rosy sky and the morning sunshine that made people feel languid and sleepy, Annie protested loudly. She wanted nothing more than to find
