After the report had been made, the cunning time traveler, Priya Lavisq, was quickly taken away under escort by a warship sent from Planetary Union Command. Her belongings were taken too: the portable short-range teleportation device, the invisibility device, and the other advanced personal equipment she'd brought from the future.
As for what the woman and her belongings would face at Planetary Union Command, that was beyond the Orville and Ed's power to influence.
At any rate, the incident in which the Orville had nearly been hijacked was finally over. The crew could set off again, resuming their patrol of the Union's borders and their charting of the stars.
Simply put, the Orville was free to roam around again.

The Orville hadn't even enjoyed two days of freedom before it received a distress signal from a planet called Castella IV. The message said the planet was under attack by a Quell warship and requested assistance.
Naturally, the Orville had no time to waste. After notifying Union Command, it hurried to the scene and arrived just in time to encounter a Quell destroyer attacking Castella IV from orbit.
This time, surprisingly, Ed and Gordon managed without Annie's help. Through their close coordination and superb command, they took advantage of the way the planet's powerful gravity and atmospheric refraction threw off the Quell ship's aim as it entered the atmosphere. They fired every plasma torpedo they had, risking mutual destruction, and blew the overconfident Quell destroyer into a cloud of wreckage circling the planet in low orbit.
