The sky gradually darkened as this hemisphere of the planet prepared to enter night.
At that moment, the pilot Gordon and little Annie were walking through the wilderness, one ahead of the other, about one or two kilometers apart.
The reason was that, unlike Annie up ahead, who could skip happily through the dim wilderness in her skirt without any trouble, Gordon, following behind, was moving at a speed that could only be described as painfully slow.
