As the spectators in the arena roared with excitement and the contestants prepared to work together to take down the green dragon, Annie saw that the useless bigwigs in the VIP box had finally managed to calm down a little. She looked at the Red Witch bound by her and then down at the arena, and, on a sudden whim, made her suggestion.

After all, Annie knew that Uncle Edgin and the others down in the arena had originally come to deal with the Red Witch and that other bad guy, Forge, who had already escaped.

But those idiots had first been captured by the Red Witch and tossed into the arena. Then she had captured the Red Witch in turn. If she tossed the witch into the arena too, wouldn't that mean Queen Annie had brought everything full circle?

And then...

Wouldn't it mean that as long as Uncle Edgin and the others defeated the Red Witch and won the competition, they would have accomplished their original plan and brought down Forge and the Red Witch?
