She'd taken care of them with nothing more than a Confundus Charm, making them obediently lock up, go downstairs, and drive off in a hurry. That was why Flora had still believed at noon that Annie had evacuated with them and that the entire town had been cleared out.
But in truth, Annie hadn't left that room at all. She hadn't even gotten out of bed!
