At the border between the Far East and the Central Lands of Rabona, Elena, Miria, and the other twenty-nine... thirty Claymores didn't set out for the Staph Organization's headquarters in the Far East right away. Instead, they spent three whole days in a small town near the border.
During those three days, they launched a series of attacks, capturing the warriors who had been stationed in nearby villages and towns, as well as those sent to intercept them. They caught quite a few and took nearly all the current generation of warriors alive. Aside from that, they simply waited in town.
Of course, they weren't hesitating and milling about because they feared the Organization might have hidden forces. They were watching and worrying about something else.
