( ̄︶ ̄) Consumables, all consumables!
All are equal beneath lances of light; when a Macro-cannon fired, not a blade of grass survived!
That was right!
This was the Imperial Navy!
Of course, to be precise, it should have referred to the warships of the Imperial Navy—in other words, the main warships in the Great Crusade fleet, especially those flagships.
For example, the flagship of the XVI Legion "Shadowmoon Wolves," which was stranded on the edge of the Taiwei Star System: that Gloriana-class "Vengeful Spirit"?
Although the other warships in the Great Crusade fleet were just as powerful and numbered in the tens of thousands, their combined firepower, once unleashed, was beyond the imagination of ordinary people. They could easily destroy any planet, or even an entire star system. Yet no one could deny that:
Among the fleet, those super-large Legion flagship-class warships—in other words, those Gloriana-class battleships—were undoubtedly the largest, longest, strongest, and most terrifyingly armed of them all. There were no exceptions!
Almost all Astartes and Imperial Navy personnel knew that Gloriana-class Battleships were colossal Imperial capital ships. They had begun to be constructed on a large scale at the start of the Great Crusade, during the period when preparations were being made for the Great Crusade in the Thirtieth Millennium.
To date, the exact number of ships of this class that had been built, as well as how many were still under construction, remained unknown. But one thing was certain: in this magnificent Great Crusade fleet, almost every Space Marine Legion fleet had been assigned at least one, or even several, such warships.
Interestingly, the Gloriana-class warships possessed by each Legion differed in size and appearance. For example, the Ultramarines flagship, "Macragge's Honour," was twenty-six kilometers long, while the Iron Warriors flagship, "Iron Blood," was a mere twenty kilometers.
