The next morning, when Darius saw a Viking fighter streak across the sky above the mining base, ignore the flight restrictions, and land in the open area beside the Command Center, the base's supreme commander knew that their troublesome little leader, Annie, had finally returned after spending several days away having fun.
Right after that, Darius saw the fighter slowly touch down. Once the cockpit had opened all the way, two haggard-looking refugees and a baby jumped out alongside their remarkable little leader.
