Finally, there were the Warp Daemons and Chaos Gods—the deep-rooted scourges that could never seem to be killed off completely. After they captured the Blackstone Obelisk tomb of the Necrons and began converting it, those entities would probably be completely dealt with before long.

Thus, whether they wanted to admit it or not, the truth was that almost overnight, all kinds of enemies, threats, and problems on Canopy Star had inexplicably vanished.

Having realized that the situation was developing in their favor, the senior commanders of the mine base, including Darius, could finally redeploy their forces and reorganize their defenses, preparing to fight the incoming invaders from Terra with everything they had.
