Shi Qiang didn't stop Annie from snooping. He first touched his face, then laughed heartily and said,

"That assassin was killed on the spot by you, but we still followed the clues and caught several of the masterminds behind the attempted assassination!"

As he spoke, Shi Qiang launched into a colorful explanation of how the PDC had followed the trail from the material used to make the Invisibility Cloak, tracked down a European bureaucrat-capitalist group, and uncovered a scientist connected to the nanoblade. They had taken down an entire ETO production line and discovered where the other side had been getting its nanoblades.
