Chapter 3012: (⊙⊙) Could It Have Been...?

Hogwarts was going to break for the holidays tomorrow, so after lunch today, all the students who weren't staying at school could head to Hogsmeade Station to catch the Hogwarts Express, or leave on their own and go home by another safe method approved by the school and the Ministry of Magic.

They could also skip lunch and go home early. The school didn't insist otherwise.

However, until classes let out at noon, the morning lessons still had to go on. For example, this Potions Class—the one Harry, Ron, and the others liked least of all...!

Of course, they didn't actually hate Potions itself. They simply hated that "dark wizard," Snape.

Especially since he'd stopped wearing the brand-new robes he'd worn to the first class of the school year and had gone back to that oversized, filthy, ragged black wizard's robe. Paired with his disheveled shoulder-length black hair, terrifying eyes, gloomy expression, and long hooked nose, he looked even more like a dark wizard.

But it was only natural!

After all, Snape was a Potions teacher. He spent plenty of time handling potions and ingredients, and preparing them inevitably meant getting splashed with all sorts of harmful or corrosive liquids. So wearing old robes while working and teaching was certainly more convenient. At least he didn't have to worry too much if they got dirty or torn.

Over time, compared with other professors—like Flitwick, who taught Charms, and Professor McGonagall, who taught Transfiguration—his appearance really had become much dirtier and more disheveled. Add his rigid and severe teaching style, and it was no wonder he made a bad impression.

Snape himself, however, hadn't realized any of this.

As for now...

"..."

The lesson would be over soon, and then the holidays would begin.
