After many Gryffindor students from all years had spent over a dozen nights cramming at the last minute, final exams at Hogwarts finally began, just as scheduled.
The exams would last nearly two weeks, because some subjects had both written and practical tests, including Charms, Transfiguration, Potions Class, and Herbology.
Of course, some classes had only a practical test or only a written one, like Flying Class and History of Magic.
The practical tests were what made the exams last nearly two weeks!
After all, students from the Four Houses had to be called in one by one to enter the classroom and cast spells or brew potions, all while their professors supervised and graded them from start to finish. That was always a time-consuming and labor-intensive process.
Fortunately, none of the exams were difficult for Annie!
When it came to written tests, she didn't have to think at all. As soon as she received a test paper, the quill in her hand would swiftly guide her hand as it wrote down one perfect answer after another. As a result, she was always the first to hand in her paper, in less than twenty minutes.
The new quills the professors had specially issued for the exams, and enchanted with anti-cheating spells, were completely useless against Annie!
If she wanted, she could make the answers appear on the test paper in an instant with a single thought. She only picked up the quill and pretended to write to avoid drawing suspicion.
