For more than ten days afterward, neither the Pansi Ridge Lanxi Village faction nor the Heavenly Court or the Buddhist sect of Western Heaven made any major moves.
But there was no doubt that they all knew of one another's existence. They all knew the others were building up their strength, readying their forces for war. That was an undeniable fact.
After all, the Main God's base in Lanxi Village had dispatched heroes in all directions to probe the Three Realms and gather intelligence. Large numbers of patrols had appeared around the Heavenly Court, the Underworld, Western Heaven, and various other immortal mountains and grottoes. They had also been carrying out all sorts of little operations: espionage, sabotage, ambushes, theft, and kidnappings. Meanwhile, more and more people were gathering here at Pansi Ridge. There was no way those developments could escape the notice of the Heavenly Court, Western Heaven, and the other local powers.

The number of departed souls in the Underworld was plummeting. Large numbers of them were being brought to the Heavenly Court, while the defenses of the Heavenly Court, the Underworld, and all the important blessed lands of the immortals were being greatly strengthened. They were also openly plundering all kinds of materials from the mortal world—steel, medicinal herbs, spiritual essence, and other strategic resources. Of course, none of that could escape the notice of the Main God and her lackeys.
The Heavenly Court had only lost a hundred thousand Heavenly Soldiers and Generals, so it was not yet crippled. But it was certainly alarmed and wary, especially after learning that its enemies were a group of "outer-realm fiends." It would naturally need to make further preparations.
