It had barely been any time since they arrived at their destination when Annie realized she must have been tricked by that "kindhearted" driver.

Anyway, she'd walked for a few minutes to the entrance and looked over the park inside and out. She found that this place was completely different from what she'd imagined and from the bustling scene that the nasty driver had described!
There was no cheerful music from the carousels, no rumbling engines from the Ferris wheel, and certainly no crashing sounds from the bumper cars or laughter from the rocking rides. The entire park was eerily quiet, without a single visitor!
What's more, everywhere she looked, even the paths inside the park were covered in fallen leaves and scattered trash. It was as if the whole place had suddenly been abandoned by the world one day?
