"So it really is food delivery?"

A chill swept in from outside the door, making Annie frown in displeasure.

"Who ordered this?"

As she spoke, Annie raised an eyebrow and looked straight at the delivery guy. He wore a yellow uniform, had a mess of hair covering half his face, yellow eyes, and a mouth full of sharp teeth. It looked as though the edges of his mouth had been sewn together with some kind of red thread.

Then she noticed the yellow cardboard box in his hands. A strange red fluid seeped through it, as if the packaging had been soaked through. Under the dim yellow light, it was dripping onto the carpet with a steady plip, plip. She had no idea whether the food inside had spilled.

Of course, none of that mattered!

What mattered was the strange stench of rotting flesh mixed with rust. Annie instinctively covered her nose.

"What is that thing? It stinks! Take it away!"

As she spoke, Annie scrunched up her little nose again and waved a hand in front of her face. Disgust and disdain were written all over her.

"Your delivery. Please sign for it..."

But the delivery guy didn't react. He continued speaking in a sinister voice, indicating that Annie should hurry up, sign for the delivery, and take it from him.

Then, for some reason, Annie thought she saw a pair of crimson glints flash in his eyes—but when she looked closely, they were gone.

Still, that didn't matter!

"No way!"

"I didn't order any food!"

Annie repeated that she hadn't ordered a thing.

"And what is that thing you're carrying? It looks disgusting. Take it away!"
