There hadn't been any major surprises. In this eerie, fog-choked weather, where all manner of ghosts and monsters were running rampant, she'd suddenly gone to knock on the door of someone else's village. The person knocking was an unfamiliar little girl, and she was dressed all in red. The outcome was, of course, obvious.

In short!

One troublesome little girl had scared several innocent families half to death and wasted a great deal of time. In the end, not a single person was willing to open the door for her. Some had even flat-out refused to communicate with her in any way.

Annie really wanted to tell the innocent villagers she'd frightened that she wasn't some kind of anomaly, and that, most of the time, she wasn't nearly as dangerous or scary as they imagined. But the villagers didn't seem interested in listening to an explanation from an unfamiliar little girl.

There was no helping it!

After knocking on several doors without getting a response, and repeatedly failing to get anywhere when she tried asking questions and explaining herself, the angry girl decided to stop messing around. She teleported straight into one of the houses, nearly scaring the whole family inside right out of their wits, and finally managed to ask them, in her capacity as the "little girl in red," for the exact location of the place she was looking for.

Before long, following the directions given by that "kind" family of villagers—and the cordon that some Containment Bureau had set up from far away—she easily found the little village and barged right in.

And yet...
