╮(╯▽╰)╭ I don't need fairness

The moment word spread that two "Chosen Pilots" were going to face off, the other pilot trainees in the training room immediately took a keen interest!

The trainees hurried out of their respective simulators. After thoughtfully giving Annie and Kira, the two Chosen Pilots, room to take their places, they couldn't wait to set up the match and project it onto the training room's big screen. Then they found seats and got ready to watch.

Soon!

The audience didn't have to wait long. Not long after Annie and Kira entered their simulators, they each selected a mobile suit for the simulated combat: a red-painted Zaku and a blue-and-white Freedom Gundam.

"Huh?"

Before the two could begin, Li Boli, who was operating the console outside to select the simulated battlefield for them, couldn't help asking in surprise:

"Teacher, aren't you going to balance the mobile suits?"

"Are you sure?"

She had noticed that Annie's Zaku was just a standard model, fully equipped with a power pack. Its power endurance, energy output, armor protection, and weapons systems were all far inferior to Freedom's. That meant the gap between the two was already enormous before the pilots even started fighting.

So once the battle began, she thought the Zaku would probably lose?

After all, Li Boli had compared the Zaku with her own Exia and Kira's Freedom Gundam. The Zaku's specifications and performance were vastly inferior to both. The difference was almost a generation or two. If the pilots were roughly equal in skill, the Zaku had virtually no chance of beating either Exia or Freedom. There was no doubt about it!

"Balance?"

Annie found the question baffling and focused on selecting weapons for her Zaku.

Soon!

She equipped her Zaku with the almost standard MA-M3 Heavy
