Next, after wiping the thick layer of dust from a raised spot beside the door, someone flipped a switch, and the safety touch interface beside it actually lit up.
Then, after the expert entered the access code with slightly rusty fingers and passed the fingerprint and facial recognition checks, the little iron door, which looked covered in rust, actually opened, revealing a hidden passage for people on foot.

Li Kui stood outside the hidden little iron door and peered inside for a while. He saw a narrow passage sloping downward, lit by emergency lights. The thick dust on the floor looked as though nobody—or anything else—had stepped on it in a long time. Only then did he relax a little.
"You two!"
"Take point!"
His brows relaxed slightly. He gestured for two soldiers to enter first with their weapons raised, carefully scout ahead, and clear the way for those behind them. Then, with a surprised expression, he turned to the expert and asked in disbelief:
"It's been so long—at least ten years, right?"
"How does this busted door still have power?"
"I was just wondering whether we should blow it open!"
As he spoke, Li Kui couldn't help marveling.
