Inside the underground factory's control center, Li Kui had witnessed everything. The moment the final blast door of the large lift platform opened, the mechanical race's machines had blown it to pieces. He couldn't help crying out in alarm.
"It's over! It's over!"
"This is the end of us!"
After seeing the flames and thick smoke, Chao Jun slapped his thigh.
He seemed to think that under such an attack, the three machines—the Red Genn, the Exia, and the Freedom Gundam—had definitely been destroyed by the mechanical race and reduced to heaps of scrap metal. He immediately let out a wail, then turned to Li Kui, who hadn't had time to leave, and complained bitterly:

"Didn't you say every pilot in your Iron Nest was top-notch?"

As for the Red Genn and the Exia, they were still connected by a cable, so they only managed to emerge from the flames in a slightly disheveled state, shielded by the Exia's GN barrier.
Fortunately, the two machines only looked a little disheveled. They weren't seriously damaged.
