(ー`~)Two Idiots
That day, after Freedom Gundam returned to the hangar and the main cannon of the "Tibbers" battleship charged up before blasting the ruins of the former City of Tianfu once more, wiping out all the mechanical monsters, steel beasts, and other assorted junk that had gathered there in one fell swoop, the battleship immediately turned around and raced toward another stargate within the galaxy at full speed.
Then, not long after the mechanical race's battleship had barely warped out of that T0 stargate and begun its pursuit, the "Tibbers" reached the T1 stargate first and escaped.
Over the next few days, the two sides naturally spent nearly a full month caught up in a game of "you chase, I flee, but you just can't catch me"!
Although there were several dangerous moments, fortunately, the Tibbers battleship was not especially slow to begin with, and the pilots were quite capable as well. Thus, after the two sides crossed several stargates in their pursuit, the newly born "Tibbers" finally managed to shake off the mechanical race's pursuit under Annie's superb command.
Next, for the sake of caution, Annie commanded the battleship to cross more than a dozen stargates in succession over the next few days before finally declaring them safe and lifting the combat alert.
After all, even though the mechanical race was the overlord of this universe, and even though it more or less knew which star systems those stargates connected to, every star system had two or three, or even more, stargates. Once the mechanical race lost track of the Tibbers and the Tibbers crossed more than a dozen stargates in succession, even the overlord of this universe—the mechanical race—could only stare helplessly at the gates.
However, certain people clearly had no idea about that situation...
