Inspired and encouraged by the astonishing combat record of the Tibbers, the two human ships from Earth—the Dalian cruiser and the Jianan frigate, which had been entangled with the Mechanical race's fleet for many days—finally rendezvoused with the Tibbers in orbit somewhere between Mars and Jupiter.
Impressed by the Tibbers and its pilots, who had managed to destroy one Mechanical race warship after another in such a short time, the pilots of the Dalian and Jianan proposed sending a few of their best pilots to visit the Tibbers as representatives. They hoped to meet and talk things over with the Tibbers' pilots.
And so!
Once the three ships had successfully joined up and they had more or less established the Tibbers as the flagship and settled command of the fleet, the ships set course for Mars orbit. Since the journey would take some time, both sides decided to use the opportunity to get to know each other better, coordinate, and prepare for joint operations by having their pilots meet for the first time in the Tibbers' hangar.
Soon, at around 3:00 p.m. on June 13, the pilots from the Dalian and Jianan arrived right on schedule aboard a shuttle. Escorted by a crew member, they quickly entered the hangar through a nearby docking bay.
At the front of the two ships' group of pilots walked a young man with curly brown hair and a resolute face. He was only about 1.7 meters tall and not particularly muscular, but his posture was remarkably upright.
