Three days later...
On a barren hillside, Annie had gone on a mission with White Elder, Xia Dou, Shan Da, Xu Tong, Shattered Star, and the others. They had ended up here, gazing from afar at the towering, enormous steel structure shaped like an umbrella, floating high in the sky.

Annie hadn't expected their mission to bring them to a place like this to find some huge thing. She blinked at it several times, then turned to White Moon魁, who was draped in a sable cloak, and asked:
"Big Sister White, what is that thing?"
"You came here to find it?"
Honestly, it was just a boring building with the ability to float, nothing special in Annie's eyes. It was far inferior to the interstellar warships she'd commanded in her previous world—the ones that could travel between stars and launch giant robots!
But that didn't stop her from putting on a clueless, adorable expression as she asked, hoping to pry out more information.

White Moon魁 didn't answer. She merely glanced at Annie before turning back toward the thing in the distance, standing there coolly and staring at it without moving, lost in thought.
"Don't bother asking White Elder!"
"Just ask me. I know!"
Luckily, the black-haired girl—cute Xia Dou—spoke up.
"That's the Lighthouse!"
She darted between the two of them, her long black hair brushing Annie's cheek, then deliberately bumped her shoulder against Annie's.
"Not long ago..."
"A floating city shelter that drifted here from somewhere else, from across the sea on our continent!"
As Xia Dou explained, she seemed to think of something and couldn't help muttering under her breath:
"Tch!"
"What's so great about being able to fly?"
She clearly didn't think much of the floating city shelter called the Lighthouse.
"Huh?"
