Chapter 3390: The Many Ways to Cook Summer Beans
In a daze, Annie woke up again to find that it was nearly noon.
She could tell from the height and angle of the glaring sun in the sky. Her estimate was probably pretty close, since she knew the simple trick of telling time by the sun's position.
By now, the few people who should have been lying down, meditating, or keeping watch had long since disappeared. Apart from the embers of the campfire and a few odds and ends, there wasn't a soul around.

Thinking the idiots had abandoned her, Annie hurriedly looked around. Luckily, she spotted them standing on the highest point of the mountain not far away, though she had no idea what they were looking at.

Ever eager to watch the excitement, Annie didn't hesitate. She cheered and ran straight over.

Annie soon reached the others and shoved Summer Bean toward the edge of the already cramped mountaintop, making her squeeze aside to free up a spot.

Annie saw that they were looking at the "lighthouse" high in the sky in the distance. There seemed to be infighting up there. She could faintly make out people fighting, with explosions and gunshots sounding now and then. Thanks to her sharp eyes and ears, Annie even spotted quite a few people running around and shouting for help.
Unfortunately, it seemed to be nearing the end. She'd woken up a little too late.
"So that's what's going on!"
