"Armor?"
Maidu frowned, a flicker of hesitation passing through her eyes.
This time, though, she didn't rush to refuse. She thought it over, then finally asked tentatively:
"What kind of armor?"
"I don't want anything too ordinary, or some clunky hunk of iron that gets in the way!"
As she spoke, her eyes fixed on Annie, as if she were trying to read something on Annie's face—or see whether Annie was lying through her teeth just to swindle her.

Seeing an opening, Annie's eyes lit up. She quickly smiled and explained:
"I've got a kind of powered armor called the Ghost Suit. It won't restrict your movement, and it's no clunky hunk of iron. Best of all, with just a few simple modifications, you can activate it using your source energy!"

"It can turn you invisible and generate a shield. And the best part is, it greatly boosts your strength and speed. It can protect you from punctures by all kinds of melee and ranged weapons, and it can even withstand laser fire!"

"All in all, it's incredibly powerful. Most people couldn't get their hands on one even if they wanted to. Interested?"

And so Annie began patiently working on her.
Sure, the Ghost Suit's capabilities were a little outrageous. But since everyone thought Annie had come from outer space, it was only natural that space had advanced armor. So she didn't let that bother her.
"The Ghost Suit?"
"Is it really that powerful?"
Maidu couldn't help asking, her eyes shining with even greater curiosity. Annie's words had clearly piqued her interest.
"Of course!"
