Seeing that the gossip had somehow ended up being about her, Annie had no choice but to sigh and raise her hand openly.

"I'll come clean. I came from Dragonbone Village, and I was originally planning to kick you idiots out so you'd stop throwing yourselves at the beasts. I never expected to run into you, friends of Uncle Mark!"

With that, Annie grinned cheekily and winked at them again.
"Oh, right!"

Then Annie continued:
"Uncle Mark is in Dragonbone Village right now. Do you want to go see him?"

"He's recovered his senses!"

Bringing them back hadn't been part of Annie's plan—or some White Boss's—but things had changed even faster than the plan, so she couldn't worry about that now.
"!!"
"What?"
"You know where Mark is?"
"Are you sure?"
Hearing Annie, Feixue, Mocheng, Elektra, and Kun Jie were all stunned. Their eyes were filled with excitement and suspicion... They were excited to finally have news of Mark, but unsure whether Annie's words were entirely trustworthy.
"Just as I thought!"
"We should've killed him first!"
"I can't see a shred of sincerity in his eyes!"
Kun Jie acted immediately. Tightening his grip on his gun, he glared murderously at Suiying and prepared to shoot him dead.
"Wait!"
Suiying panicked and hurriedly shouted in his defense:
"You'd rather believe a stranger with an unknown background who's wanted by the Lighthouse than believe me?"
"Have you gone crazy?!"
At that moment, he no longer had the luxury of staying calm. His voice was full of despair.
"Ha!"
