Chapter 3445: Passing the Buck Back and Forth
Maybe the 8925 Dustfolk boy's words had worked. Maybe Mark felt he hadn't done enough. Maybe his bleeding-heart side had kicked in and he'd taken pity on Shadow. Or maybe Mark thought he'd gone a little overboard with the killing during the rampage that day.

Just as Shadow was about to be choked to death, Mark suddenly let go and flung him to the ground. Then, looking utterly dejected, he turned and walked away without a backward glance.
Nobody knew what was going through his mind, and nobody was foolish enough to ask under the circumstances!
So, seeing that Mark hadn't killed him, White Moon Kui—Boss White—as well as Elektra, Mo Cheng, Feixue, and Kunjie ultimately said nothing. They only watched him leave in silence.
Since even the great bleeding-heart Mark had chosen not to take revenge and choke Shadow to death, the matter was naturally passed along to the landlord of Dragonbone Village: Boss White, White Moon Kui.
But when it came to the two captives from the Lighthouse, even Boss White didn't know what to do with them.
