With Annie's help, Bone Dragon Village had grown stronger and stronger.
Now, they had not only developed farming techniques for the Orks, but had also mastered the miraculous means of using Orks and life source matter to resurrect the dead. This gave the little village more confidence in its ability to survive the Mana Apocalypse.
At any rate, everything in Bone Dragon Village was running smoothly and according to plan. Things at the Lighthouse were still the same as before. The people there couldn't move, and though they might still have some bad intentions, the two sides were dozens of kilometers apart, so they were getting along peacefully enough.
McDull, the Orks' "Mommy Boss," was currently in charge of managing them. After realizing that the Orks didn't need her to manage them at all and could develop and survive on their own, she had nothing to do. So she went to Annie's place again, ready to mooch some food.
"Annie!"

As soon as she entered, she plopped down on the bamboo mat on Annie's bed and cheered.
"Huh?"

Then she spotted Annie lying on the mat with a huge bunch of lychees in her arms—who knew where she'd gotten them this time. McDull swallowed, immediately reached over, grabbed a bunch, and deftly peeled one to eat.

"So good!"
The moment the flesh touched her tongue, McDull's eyes lit up. She forgot all about what she'd meant to say when she came over, sat cross-legged beside Annie, and started eating handfuls at a time.
