When Annie brought the anxious-looking Mado to the scene on the other side of Dragonbone Village by Teleport, ready to provide support, they were astonished to find that:
The awakened ones who had stayed behind, including Xia Dou and the others, were all perfectly fine. Meanwhile, the Lighthouse raiders who had come to ambush them—the Hunters—were battered, bruised, and surrounded in groups of thirty or fifty by the Orks, who had captured them?
Anyway!
Both Annie and Mado saw the Lighthouse Hunters, recognizable from their outfits, squatting with their hands over their heads on the grass, which had been badly churned up by fighting and explosions. The Orks glared down at them and barked orders, and the captives were as obedient as livestock awaiting slaughter.
There were two or three thousand Orks at the scene, and only five or six groups of captives, each containing thirty to fifty people. That meant around three hundred of the attackers had been captured. The rest had probably already been killed.
Not far away, Orks were gathering the dead from both sides. There were very few Ork corpses, maybe only ten or twenty, and no wounded at all. Orks had incredible regenerative abilities; as long as they weren't killed outright, they basically couldn't die.
There were plenty of dead on the Lighthouse's side, though!
For starters, there were at least a hundred bodies that the Orks had already piled together, not counting those that hadn't been carried over yet.
For example, Annie and Mado could see at least a dozen Lighthouse corpses sprawled in a starburst around the wreckage of an armored vehicle in the distance. The body farthest from the blast site was at least thirty or forty
