Above the palace image were elegant seal-script characters reading "Heavenly Court Silver Note," while beneath it were eight small characters: "Redeemable on presentation; accepted throughout the Three Realms."
Annie also spotted a simple star chart of the celestial sphere. The stars' positions seemed to correspond to some kind of formation, and even appeared to shift in real time. Was that some kind of anti-counterfeiting measure?
Tiny anti-counterfeiting spirit-light runes were scattered across both sides of the note, visible only from certain angles. They, too, seemed to shimmer faintly.
