Listlessly, he leaned against an embroidered couch on the other side of the room, idly turning over a smooth, lustrous white jade ring he had somehow come by.
His gaze seemed unfocused, as though his thoughts were elsewhere. He didn't speak to his sisters, his mother, his aunt, or anyone else.
