Annie repeated the name in a murmur. Then she looked at the other woman again, a strange expression appearing on her little face.
"What a weird name!"

"But it doesn't matter. You look older than me, so I'll call you Sister Jinghuan!"
She wasn't shy in the least. Just as she'd casually plucked fruit from someone else's tree, she now called the woman "Sister" without a second thought.
"As you wish."
Thankfully, Jinghuan didn't refuse. She simply nodded faintly.
"It is merely a Daoist title. Why fuss over it?"
Then her smile faded, and her expression grew solemn. She looked straight at Annie, as if trying to see right through her.
