This planet was called "Blue Star." It was not Terra, nor did it have anything to do with Earth. It was merely a name—an ordinary planet located somewhere in the Milky Way. And occasionally, the sky above the planet even took on a sickly purplish-gray hue?

The air was thick with the stench of sulfur, gunpowder smoke, decaying tissue, and incompletely burned aviation fuel, along with a certain foul odor she knew all too well!
It was the smell of Chaos corruption, like ten thousand tons of rotten meat mixed with excessive spices and excrement, then left under the blazing sun to bake.
The camp was pitifully small, situated mainly amid a stretch of low hills. The once-dense vegetation around it had long been plowed flat by war, leaving behind nothing but charred stumps and barren earth riddled with shell craters.
At the camp's outermost perimeter, crude bunkers of sandbags and rubble had been piled up haphazardly. Several automated sentry cannons stood crookedly nearby, two of them already completely silent, their barrels mottled with black scorch marks. No one knew what had blown them up.
