He had managed it so quickly, of course, because they had already located their targets several days earlier, and today they had Annie and Lania to thank!
Previously, however, the Nighon slave owner had refused to sell the beautiful Terran slaves he had just acquired, saying something about wanting to enjoy them a little longer.
Today, things were different.
For some reason, the underground inhabitants of Trelins, a Dungeon city, suddenly discovered that a whole host of strange Magma Pools had appeared outside their city. More importantly, hundreds of terrifying fire-element fish-headed monsters had emerged from every Magma Pool!
Not only had those fish-headed monsters occupied strategic high ground, they had surrounded the entire city and cut off access to nearby resource sites, including mushroom farms, salamander breeding pools, and mines. They had also repeatedly defeated the armies sent out to subjugate them. There were even rumors that Lord Cyril himself had been defeated by those monsters and died outside!
Nobody knew whether those rumors were true. All the underground inhabitants knew was that their lord had led his troops out two days ago and vanished without a trace. Today, the city's defending officers had led two or three sorties against those fish-headed monsters, only to suffer crushing defeats and limp back in disgrace!
Every resident had witnessed that with their own eyes, so there could be no doubt about it.
