She stood alone before the enormous floor-to-ceiling window in her bedroom, gazing out at the sunset that lit up half the sky, the busy traffic, the industrial smokestacks, the colossal buildings, and the ships constantly streaking past. She could hardly see a trace of green on Coruscant, and she remained silent for a long while.

Coruscant really was a fine, prosperous world...
In terms of technology, commerce, development, or industrial output, her entire country of Naboo might not measure up to a single street here.
But no matter how wonderful or advanced this place was, it wasn't her home. It wasn't Naboo. She didn't want to stay here.
She hadn't been on Coruscant long since fleeing there, but the beautiful, bountiful Naboo she longed for and worried about was still the one place she couldn't stop thinking of.

It was a pastoral world, near the edge of the Galactic Republic's territory in the Outer Rim. Its inhabitants were the peaceful humans known as Naboo, along with the intelligent amphibious native Gungans. Like Jar Jar Binks, who had come to Coruscant with them, they weren't as savage and ignorant as she had once heard. They were clumsy, perhaps, but beneath that lay an innocent, primitive kindness.
Naboo was beautiful. It had little industry, and its economy relied mainly on agriculture and tourism. Unlike the cold, steel cityscape of Coruscant, the Republic's capital, Naboo was defined by its untouched swamps, lakes, rolling plains, forests, and lush green hills.
The peace-loving Naboo had no great desire to reshape or ravage their home. In their settlements and cities, they wove rivers and patches
