Two more years passed, and Roa successfully found a wife for Rudeus: Zenith. 🎉✌ 👻💲 ·
Bringing a somewhat shy Zenith home, Rudeus began his nurturing plan. Roa thought to himself, "You already have one, so don't be a playboy."
Thus, besides his usual training in Magic and swordsmanship, he spent all his time calculating.
Calculating time for what? Naturally, he was waiting for Roxy.
Rudeus has a wife, so it's not unreasonable for his older brother to have one too, right?
When Rudeus was four years old, Roa used a suitable reason to ask Paul and his wife for permission.
"Father, Mother, I believe Rudeus and I need a Magic teacher," Roa said.
Soon after, a young girl with azure hair descended from a carriage.
"My name is Roxy. Please guide me." Before them stood a petite girl, clad in a brown robe in the style of a magician. Her water-blue hair was tied into a braid. She looked about middle school age, and her appearance could be described as delicately cute.
She spoke to Paul with half-closed, tired eyes.
A loli, half-closing her eyes with annoyance, an indifferent attitude. This was her impression on everyone.
The moment Roa saw Roxy, he pulled Rudeus aside without a second thought.
Roa said with a serious face, "Rudeus, am I good to you?"
Rudeus felt it was strange but nodded. To be honest, although his older brother's expression was a bit cold, he was actually a very good person.
Roa leaned into Rudeus's ear and whispered, "I've taken a liking to this girl."
Rudeus's eyes widened. He glanced at the somewhat cute Roxy, then at the incredibly handsome young boy before him. The thought of them getting close made his cheeks flush. He immediately thought of dozens of R-rated manga.
As if afraid Rudeus hadn't heard clearly, Roa repeated, "I've taken a liking to this girl."
Rudeus nodded, a look of understanding on his face. He leaned into Roa's ear and asked, "What do you plan to do?"
"What do I plan to do?" Roa looked at Rudeus strangely. "What else can I do?"
Rudeus chuckled, a sly grin spreading across his lips. Roa couldn't help but take two steps back. Rudeus whispered, "Of course, that! Such a cute girl, don't tell me you have no feelings for her."
Roa fell into thought. He nodded. Rudeus patted the shoulder of the handsome young boy before him, glanced at Zenith inside the house, and then loudly called out, "Zenith, you can come out and listen in too."
Paul was annoyed by the two whispering beside him and shouted, "Roa, Rudeus, hurry up and greet your teacher!"
Roxy looked at the two with some curiosity. She adjusted the brim of her hat slightly and said to Paul, "I heard you have two boys who want to learn Magic. What about the other child?"
With a look of disbelief on her face, Paul pointed to the taller young boy beside him. "This is my eldest son, his name is Roa."
He then pointed to a little kid with yellow hair next to him. "This is my second son, Rudeus."
Roa was already used to it. He bowed and said, "Are you my teacher? Nice to meet you, my name is Roa Greirat. You can just call me Roa."

Roxy was taken aback by the doll-like, cute young boy before her. She pointed at him again. "You, you're a boy?"
Roa's brow twitched. He knew his current appearance caused many misunderstandings, but that was just how he looked.
Roa nodded. Roxy gave an awkward smile and shifted her gaze between Roa and Rudeus.
"So, it's these two who want to learn Magic?" Roxy asked.
Rudeus weakly raised his hand. "If it's possible, I'd like Zenith to receive your guidance as well."
"Eh? Me? I'm happy to be with Rudeus and Big Brother Roa. Learning Magic together too, would that be alright?" Zenith asked shyly.
Rudeus just gave her a bright smile and waved his hand, as if to say, "Leave it to me."
Paul covered his forehead with his hand, annoyed. "Hey, you two, don't make decisions on your own. It was originally just the two of you."
Roxy's smile stiffened. She looked at the timid Zenith beside her and sighed. "You can stay and listen in. However, aren't all three of you too young? One is six, and the other two are four."
The smiles that had appeared on Rudeus and Zenith's faces froze.
Paul, however, puffed out his chest proudly. "The boys in our family are all geniuses," he declared.
Roxy sighed as if resigned and rubbed her temples. Her voice softened as she said, "Alright then, let's begin today's first lesson."
Thus, the four found a clearing in the courtyard and sat down.
Roxy took out a thick Magic book from her bag. After a moment's thought, she put it down and addressed the three children sitting cross-legged before her. "So, from this Magic textbook... No, before that, let's first confirm how much Magic you can use."
Rudeus was about to speak when he was interrupted by Roa's cold voice. "We've only learned some related knowledge from books."
Roxy's delicate face showed an expression of "as expected." She sighed lightly, looked around, and said to everyone, "I'll demonstrate first. Try to see if you can learn it. May the great Water's blessing descend upon the place you seek, a cool shallow stream shall appear here—Water Ball."
A fist-sized water ball began to form in her hand. The water ball swirled and then flew towards a distant point.
Splat.
The sound of the water ball hitting the ground echoed. It landed beside a railing, wetting it.
"See?" Roxy's expression was somewhat listless. It was clear she didn't have high expectations for the three.
"Amazing," Rudeus's slightly exaggerated voice chimed in. He winked at Roa.
Zenith looked confused. Didn't the two of them already know how to do that?
Magic is wondrous.
That was undeniable. It could conjure various elements of Wind, Fire, Water, and Earth out of thin air.
But Magic was also extremely difficult to learn, as it had strict requirements for Magic Power.
Today, Roxy had encountered three top-tier prodigies.
