Background / History

Tang Hao lived in Sacred Soul Village as a blacksmith and helped Chen Huang's impoverished family support the boy's health. When Chen Huang showed interest in forging, Tang Hao accepted him as a student and taught him blacksmithing, force-generation techniques, medicinal ointments, and massage methods. 1 2

He is the father of Tang Shan, commonly called Xiao Shan. After she awakened Blue Silver Grass, Clear Sky Hammer, Twin Martial Souls, and Innate Full Soul Power, Tang Hao initially refused to let her attend the Junior Soul Master Academy. His concerns stemmed from Martial Soul Hall's continuing search for him after he killed former Pope Qian Xunji, as well as the danger posed by Xiao Shan's inherited talents. 3 4

Tang Hao concealed his identity from Chen Huang and Xiao Shan for years, describing himself only as a Soul Master living in seclusion. At the end of Chen Huang's first semester at Nuoding City Junior Soul Master Academy, he formally accepted Chen Huang as his disciple, though not as a Clear Sky Sect disciple because Tang Hao was still regarded as a sect traitor. 36
