• Oscar explained that the God of the Sea was still alive in the God Realm and agreed to take Mu En and Poseinan through a spatial passage, while Ning Rongrong protected them with divine light.
• Oscar and the others emerged from the passage to find Ten Thousand Demons King, Di Tian, Gu Yuena, and the returning Soul Beasts waiting for them.
• Xiong Jun revealed that the Soul Beasts had killed the gods, and Oscar and Ning Rongrong began to self-destruct rather than leave anything behind for their enemies.

Mu En was ordered to lead his people into surrendering to the Sun Moon Empire, while Scarlet King gathered the battlefield’s resentful souls and noticed something in the distance.

• Gu Yuena explained that she spared Mu En because his status could help govern the Demon-Humans and because the demons hoped to learn from Shrek Academy.
• Ten Thousand Demons King raised the need to divide territory and benefits, but Gu Yuena postponed the discussion and warned that the God Realm would soon launch a stronger attack.
• Gu Yuena and the demons left to prepare defenses, medicines, Magic Treasures, talismans, corpses, and other resources for the coming battle.
• Ten Thousand Demons King told Mu En to return with his people and surrender to the Sun Moon Empire, leaving them to choose one representative to communicate with the demons.

Scarlet King confronted Da Ming and Er Ming, sparing their bodies but sending their souls into the Ten Thousand Souls Billion Bones Pagoda. Mu En then told Kong Deming that Douluo Three Kingdoms would surrender to the Sun Moon Empire, prompting the empire’s forces to celebrate.

• Scarlet King recognized Da Ming and Er Ming and learned they had survived the battle after serving Tang San.
• Da Ming and Er Ming accepted punishment, and Scarlet King sent their souls into the Ten Thousand Souls Billion Bones Pagoda while burying their living bodies.
• Er Ming told Da Ming he wanted to see Sister Xiao Wu and Dong'er but also feared seeing them, and Da Ming said they would have only each other.

• Kong Deming told Mu En that Sun Moon Empire citizens now carried Demon bloodlines and that most received them at random, then implied Mu En should earn merit by dealing with the former Three Kingdoms.

After Shrek’s forces returned from a devastating defeat, Mu En left to warn the major nations while Zhang Lexuan took charge of Shrek City and prepared to tell the students the truth. The chapter ended with Zhang Lexuan announcing that Shrek had lost, as Huo Yuhao and the students learned the victory they had celebrated was an illusion.

• Mu En returned to Shrek with the surviving Soul Masters and saw that Zhang Lexuan had lost an arm and Shrek’s inner courtyard forces had been wiped out.
• Mu En placed Zhang Lexuan and Jing Hongchen in charge of Shrek City, then concealed the defeat from the celebrating outer courtyard students and flew toward the Star Luo Empire.
• Jing Hongchen went to find Meng and Xiao, while Zhang Lexuan walked toward the outer courtyard to face the students.

Zhang Lexuan told Shrek Academy that humanity had lost the war and ordered its students to keep Shrek City peaceful. Huo Yuhao asked Lu Wu what would happen to humanity, and Lu Wu revealed that the future would contain demons and Demon-Humans, but no pure-blooded humans.

• Zhang Lexuan announced that humanity had surrendered after the gods and allied army were defeated, then asked Shrek's students to maintain order in the city.
• Zhang Lexuan explained that only a few thousand soldiers survived, that Mu En had gone to persuade the empires to surrender, and that Shrek City still had Mu En's protection.
• Huo Yuhao cautiously asked Lu Wu how he would deal with humanity, and Lu Wu said there would be no pure-blooded humans in the future, only demons and Demon-Humans.
• Electrolux explained to Huo Yuhao that Demon-Humans would be humans carrying Soul Beast bloodlines, while Lu Wu said Soul Beasts had never massacred their own kind.
• Wang Dong asked Lu Wu whether he was a Soul Beast.

Lu Wu called himself a demon while Huo Yuhao comforted Wang Dong, and the Sun Moon Empire unified the continent after the other empires surrendered. As the new order gathered for talks, Tang San and the gods attacked the demons, but Lu Wu appeared before them as their apparent protector.
