• Xiang Yuan arrived in Fengxian County, joined Old Liu’s squad, and helped investigate Lin Jianfeng’s murder, which exposed a dispute over illicit goods tied to the Five Poisons Cult.
• Xiang Yuan accepted Heartless Daoist as his master, received a Bagua Heart-Protecting Mirror, and joined the nighttime raid on the suspected cultists.
• Xiang Yuan killed a cultist during the raid, became lost and poisoned, then took shelter at Lesser Morality Temple, where Spiritual Light Old Devil tried to possess him.
• The Heart-Protecting Mirror destroyed Spiritual Light Old Devil, and Xiang Yuan learned cultivation arts from the devil’s memories before meeting Xiao He under his umbrella.

• Xiang Yuan earned Wang Wenxu’s praise with Toiling Farmers and was admitted to the academy, choosing loyalty to Xiao He and Xu Jixian over Wang’s offer to fund him if he cut ties with them.
• At the mass grave, Xiang Yuan fought Sima Qingyan through an illusion formation, defeated her, and took her sword before recovering and pawning it to buy cultivation supplies.
• Xiang Yuan advised Yue Huanjiang on White Cloud Manor’s business strategy, became his sworn brother, and received a supreme-grade Acupoint Opening Pill and medicinal food.

Xiang Yuan found the Jambu Gate in another world, completed the Ageless Celestial Venerable’s quest, and returned to the Dry Abyss Realm. He then traveled with Xiao He to Peace Creek Stronghold, where Miao Black Wolf’s feigned illness set off a struggle for control.

• Xiang Yuan defeated Duan Wei and Black Robe, destroyed the Yellow Springs Dao ritual, and freed the villagers before joining Mingzhu’s young heroes.
• After learning about a Western Zhou tomb used by Five Poisons Cult smugglers, Xiang Yuan found a jade disc, fought its zombie guardian, and learned corpse-controlling techniques from Xu Jixian.
• Yin Mu poisoned Xiang Yuan and pursued him, but Xiang Yuan entered the Jambu Gate and awoke in a strange low-Vital-Energy world under Xiao Heizi’s care.
• Xiang Yuan defeated Master Hongneng and the martial artists who came to seize him, then exposed their staged plot at the Ageless Celestial Venerable’s treasure and completed his quest with a white pearl.
• Xiang Yuan returned to Western Chu, cultivated with the Five Elements Pearl, and set out with Xiao He toward the Southern Border after Xiao He revealed his mission.

Xiang Yuan traveled with White Dragon through the Unborn Realm, where they fought demons and monks to recover a relic before returning home. Back in their own world, he swore brotherhood with Xiao He, took control of the Secluded Immortal Sect, and sought opponents to temper his foundation.

• Xiang Yuan and Xiao He left Peace Creek Stronghold under new identities, then joined Xia Yimei’s search for a treasure in the mine, where they encountered the Yellow Springs Holy Maiden and a deadly maze.
• Xiang Yuan escaped the formation, killed Scarface with the Tiger Roar Saber, and met Chan’er, who mistook him for Uncle Spiritual Light and made him swear to protect her if she faced danger.
• Xiang Yuan returned home with Xiao He, restored Senior Zombie with yin energy, and entered the Jambu Gate with White Dragon to reach the Unborn Realm.
• White Dragon and Xiang Yuan killed Great Zen Master Fa Jing, confronted the Red Pavilion ghosts, and pursued Madam Huaize, whose allies Wind Howl Demon and Lady Cold Shadow also fell in battle.
• Xiang Yuan and White Dragon entered Madam Huaize’s underwater palace, where Abbot Fa Kong seized the relic and fought them before they killed him and recovered the treasure.
• After looting the demon king’s cave and Lotus Zen Monastery, Xiang Yuan and White Dragon returned through the Jambu Gate, and Xiao Lingyue revealed her identity and asked him to protect Xiao He.
