"What are you standing there for? Just say it."

The girl's fair little hand waved in front of Feeney's face, her tone impatient. "My time's precious, so hurry up and tell me—what was up with that guy?"

"What are you busy with?"

Snapped out of his thoughts, Feeney frowned at her. "You're still looking into that!? Skye, I've told you plenty of times—it's dangerous, and now's not the time to investigate."

Skye Hailsaiz was the girl's name, and also Feeney's sister—not a blood sister, not a half-sister or anything like that, but someone he'd accidentally summoned using the 'Golden Great Deduction Technique.'

It was because of her that Feeney had managed to use This Ability for the first time.

After drawing the 'Golden Great Deduction Technique,' Feeney, still a baby, spent every day besides eating, drinking, and sleeping studying the system. As strong as the 'Golden Great Deduction Technique' was, there were plenty of other skills from anime out there, and he wasn't about to complain about having too many.

Figuring out how to draw again became his daily focus.

Feeney observed its changes in his mind every day for a whole month before he noticed it shifting just a tiny bit daily. That worried him—at this rate, he had no idea when he'd unlock a second draw.

But as a toddler who couldn't even crawl properly, solving this problem anytime soon was out of reach.

And as they say, misfortunes never come singly. When he was about a year old, he discovered this world was different.

At the start of his transmigration, Feeney had already realized he'd arrived in a relatively early era. His home had plenty of appliances, but they all had a certain 'dated' feel to them.

It wasn't until one day, after he'd learned to speak, that he heard on TV about the fifth anniversary of the death of the wealthy Howard Stark and his wife, and how his son Tony Stark had achieved something new, that Feeney understood what kind of world he'd landed in.

That was when his heart started racing. All his earlier plans about making money and living a good life were thrown out the window.

Marvel UniverseFeeney wasn't unfamiliar with the term. He'd loved watching movies in his past life, but he never imagined he'd end up in a world like this.

This was a world where aliens roamed everywhere, superpowers were as common as stray dogs, and even the universe came in multiple varieties.

After the father of the future Iron Man died, Feeney began looking into the outside world. Luckily, being over a year old, showing some curiosity wasn't too out of place.

From what he learned, there were no mutants in this world, which meant the daily danger level dropped significantly. Feeney breathed a slight sigh of relief, but he confirmed he was indeed in the Marvel Universe—places like the Captain America Museum were proof enough.

Just thinking about the possibility of turning to dust from a snap of some Purple Potato Spirit's fingers in the future filled Feeney with a sense of urgency. He didn't want to gamble on that fifty-fifty chance, and given how disaster-prone New York was, even surviving long enough to see that snap was questionable without some good luck.

And so, as Feeney brooded over how to use the 'Golden Great Deduction Technique,' seven years passed without him noticing. During those seven years, he'd tried gentle methods like safe-voltage shocks and increasing his food intake to stimulate the Experience Bar's growth, but none of it worked.

But maybe fate had its own plan. That year, he unleashed the 'Golden Great Deduction Technique' for the first time, and in a way he never expected.

Having been reborn with memories of his past life, Feeney was exceptionally clever, well-behaved, and adorable from a young age. But he never showed anything unusual—S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra were still pretty terrifying back then, and getting caught would've been the end.

Even so, his parents, who'd had him late in life, doted on him excessively.

Living a second life, Feeney found this kind of spoiling hard to handle. He'd tried to resist or explain himself, but in the end, he almost had to play the bratty kid causing trouble just to get some space.

So, on his seventh birthday, after being dragged around the mall all day by his parents and forced to accept a pile of childish gifts, he finally snapped.

That night, in his room, sitting among a heap of ridiculous cute plushies, his mind was eerily calm. Staring at the chandelier on the ceiling, he pondered how to become an annoying 'brat.'

But just then, a sudden thought struck him: "If only I could have a sister!"

What Feeney really meant was that having someone to share his parents' attention might help. He didn't think of a brother—most brats he knew were boys, and he didn't want the trouble. A sister, on the other hand? He was only seven; if a baby girl showed up, it might ease things temporarily, but it could cause more problems later. So after ruling that out, a sister was the only choice.

It was just a random thought. He was an only child—no matter how tough his dad was, he couldn't have given him a real sister before the transmigration.

But right after that thought, Feeney's head suddenly throbbed with pain. His vision went dark, and he nearly passed out. Even though he didn't, he felt as groggy as if he'd been hungover for three days straight.

At the same time, at Feeney's front door, a cute little girl, panicked and running blindly, slammed headfirst into the door and sat on the ground, clutching her head.

The pain left Feeney dazed, but the thrill of his words becoming reality made him ecstatic.

Seven years. Seven whole years. Did this stupid skill have any idea what he'd been through!?

After recovering a bit, he immediately checked the system in his mind and was surprised to find that the energy bar, which had naturally filled a little over halfway like an experience gauge, was now full.

He could draw again!

But just as Feeney was about to excitedly Extract Skill, his parents' voices called from downstairs, snapping him back to reality.

"It worked that fast?"

Feeney muttered to himself, setting aside the urge to draw for now, and dragged himself downstairs.

In the living room, a girl sat nervously on the couch. Her clear, bright amber eyes, curved brows, and long lashes fluttered slightly. The only thing marring her image was a big bump on her fair, flawless forehead.

His parents sat beside her, while across from them were a man and a woman, both wearing slightly helpless expressions.

"Feeney, this is Ma—"

"Skye!" The girl cut off Feeney's father, her voice crisp and firm. "My name is Skye!"

"I'm so sorry, Mr. Hailsaiz, for disturbing you tonight, but we really need to get back to St. Agnes." The man across from the girl stood up, apologetic.

"St. Agnes!?"

Feeney felt terrible right now and had no idea why the skill had worked this way, but he wasn't about to let this potential solution to his problem leave.

"It's an orphanage."

Feeney's mother, looking reluctant, walked over and took his hand, explaining, "Feeney, your father and I want to adopt her. Is that okay?"

"Of course!"

Feeney nodded quickly. Wasn't this exactly what he wanted—a sister to share the burden of his parents' doting?

It was clear that his parents now really liked this girl.

Hearing Feeney's parents' words, a flicker of surprise passed through the girl's eyes, but there wasn't much joy—only some loneliness and sorrow. Having already been through three foster homes, she didn't want to endure the pain of being kicked out again.

Her feelings, however, couldn't change the effect of the 'Golden Great Deduction Technique'—or rather, his parents' affection.

The next day, Feeney's parents, both lawyers, completed all the paperwork in just Two Hours, and just like that, he gained a Sister.

After summoning Skye with the 'Golden Great Deduction Technique,' Feeney had formed a rough guess about this skill lottery system. He felt that the increase in the Experience Bar might be related to skill usage, in addition to natural growth.

But what truly confirmed his speculation was the second skill he drew.

To be honest, I'm not very familiar with Marvel. I only watched two seasons of S.H.I.E.L.D., so I actually didn't want to write Skye in at first. But later I figured it wouldn't make much difference whether I included her or not, so I did. The main plot of this book should still revolve around the movies.
