In the classroom for the large English lecture, Ren Yifan waved at Wang Yan with a grin. "Come on, come on. I saved you a seat."
Gu Yixin, who was already sitting beside him, glanced up. Seeing Wang Yan stroll over, she lowered her head and went back to flipping through her book.
Wang Yan sat down on Gu Yixin's other side and said, "I really don't understand. You're studying Spanish, so how are you taking English classes with us Broadcasting College students?"
Ren Yifan grinned. "Easy. Our college has so few people that it doesn't matter which college we take classes with. We just happened to be grouped with Broadcasting College. Without this, how would us brothers have fun together? But seriously, I didn't expect your grades to be so good. You even made it into this advanced class."
"Likewise. I didn't expect your grades to be this good either."
"Ah..." Ren Yifan let out a melancholy sigh. "Maybe that's the trouble with being a genius. So often, we want to keep a low profile, but as they say, true gold fears no fire. Our genius can't be hidden."
"You have no shame at all!" Gu Yixin curled her lip.
"Aren't you a genius from the advanced class?" Ren Yifan asked.
"So that's what you meant..." Gu Yixin looked rather pleased as she watched Ren Yifan nod repeatedly. "Child, you're already an adult. Stop playing such childish games."
Ren Yifan slipped into full melodrama, looking utterly crushed and heartbroken...
"Clearly, she isn't a genius." Wang Yan chuckled.
"Agreed!" Ren Yifan immediately declared, decisively. "She called me childish as if she's so mature herself. I certainly haven't seen it."
