For now, he only knew that he was in Fuyuki City, that this was the Fifth Holy Grail War, that he was in a special space, and that Enkidu—who shouldn't have appeared in the Fifth Holy Grail War—had shown up.
So he needed more information. He also needed to find his "teammates"—his theoretical teammates, anyway.
That depended on whether the space had arranged for any.
Regardless, all he had to do for now was focus on doing what he should.
First, he headed to a Police Station. With Invisibility and the No Trace effect from the Gogmao Blood Axe, Lin Yun was completely undetectable.
There, he started by looking into Fuyuki City's detailed maps.
It had been too long.
Lin Yun had forgotten the exact locations of some of Fuyuki City's more notable landmarks.
Places like Ryudou Temple, the school, the Fuyuki Church, the Emiya Residence, and the Tohsaka Manor.
At the Police Station, a little digging was all it took to find them. And if anything required a more thorough search, Lin Yun could simply use Suggestion or a similar spell to get the police to help.
Thanks to that, he quickly found the names and approximate locations of places familiar to anyone who knew this world.
The first place he needed to check was the Fuyuki Church.
Lin Yun was very concerned about Kirei Kotomine. The man had been the mastermind behind two consecutive Holy Grail Wars—well, not entirely behind the scenes.
He'd almost died in the Fourth Holy Grail War, but at least he'd survived, and had done quite well for himself afterward.
So Lin Yun needed to confirm what had happened to him.
If
